Position Overview
Fred Smith Company is seeking experienced heavy equipment operators for multiple positions in the Sandhills Region of North Carolina. We are a self‑perform heavy civil contractor based in Raleigh and the surrounding area.

Grade Excavator Operator
Bulldozer Operator
Compensation & Benefits
Pay is commensurate with experience. All employees are eligible after 90 days for benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off.

Requirements
Minimum education required: High School or GED.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Follow all company safety policies, including taking specific action to avoid other workers, other equipment, potential obstructions, and marked or unmarked utility lines.
Operate equipment efficiently and follow instructions of on‑site management.
Follow all equipment monitoring and maintenance requirements.
Move and load material utilizing dozers, excavators, loaders, etc.
