Supervisor Of Transportation

Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent-Business Services, supervises the day-to-day operation of the District pupil transportation program, which includes contract services provided to one or more local school districts for home-to-school transportation and vehicle maintenance for school buses and other vehicles. Prepares and administers the transportation department budget and maintains the necessary records required by law. Assists in the completion of District reports, including the Annual Report. Ensures strict compliance with all applicable laws governing pupil transportation and vehicle repair. Assists in the development of long-range plans, District policy, and department guidelines. The Supervisor of Transportation may train school bus drivers, operate a school bus, and maintain buses and other vehicles.
Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Licenses High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Class C California Driver's License. Possession of a valid Class A, Class B license with a "P" and "S" endorsement, California Driver's License, or a willingness to obtain. First Aid and CPR certification Valid medical certificate
