Fuel Blend Technician I
The Fuel Blend Technician I will perform duties associated with operating a Fuel Blender to sustainably dispose of hazardous waste.
Position Responsibilities
Move 55-gallon drum along the rollers to the drum elevator utilizing levels.
Effectively utilize a forklift to pull drums from the staging areas (A-401) and use the grabbers to load the line.
Load and stack empty drums in the trailer, safely keeping the trailer in good order.
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
Maintain a clean work area throughout the day.
Ability to utilize inventory tracking systems.
Possess knowledge on the operational process of the Fuel Blender, including but not limited to, test bucket sampling, removing open top lids, and de-head drums.
Provide support for tanker pumping, bringing drums, pulling tags, and bringing pallets.
Observe all aspects of loading and unloading tankers, providing support.
Communicate with other technicians to have an efficient, productive, and safe operation of the Fuel Blender.
Follow all environmental, health and safety compliance and EPA requirements.
Complete additional assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older.
1-2 years of experience with hazardous waste or related experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Possess 40-hour OSHA Training (Or ability to complete) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED preferred.
Relatable work experience preferred.
Physical Demands of the Role
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $39,200.00 - $52,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
