Quality Control Indexing Technician
The Quality Control Indexing Technician is responsible for ensuring that all patient medical records and loose documents are prepped, scanned, indexed and imported into the electronic medical record (Epic) with the highest level of quality. They are responsible for managing the workflow in both the paper-based environment and the electronic medical record while maintaining the quality, accuracy, completeness and security of the patient's medical record per departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Monday-Friday
8am-5pm (flexible)
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Computer skills
Keyboarding 30-40 wpm
Communication skills
Customer Service skills
Preferred Qualifications
1-2+ years of experience specializing in medical office
Experience utilizing Epic electronic record
Medical terminology
Terminal digit order filing
