This Mechanical Assembler role focuses on building and assembling copper piping and rubber tubing for high-density liquid cooling products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with hand and power tools, follow blueprints to construct more complex cooling system assemblies and mild steel enclosures, and learn new fabrication techniques such as brazing and grinding. This position requires standing throughout the shift and working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Assemble copper piping and rubber tubing for high-density liquid cooling products according to specifications.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints to assemble complex cooling systems and mild steel enclosures.
Learn and perform brazing on copper piping under guidance and established procedures.
Grind and finish assembled products to meet quality and safety standards.
Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to production requirements.
Work both independently and collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and operational guidelines.
Stand for the duration of the shift while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
Assist with general production, packaging, and related tasks as needed in a high-speed environment.
Essential Skills
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a work or personal setting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or basic technical drawings.
Capability to stand for the entire shift in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong desire to enter and grow within the manufacturing industry.
Comfort working with mechanical components, production line activities, and general labor tasks.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
Willingness to learn new skills such as brazing, grinding, and more complex assembly work.
Reliability and punctuality in attendance and work habits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus.
Previous experience in production, packaging, construction, or mechanical work is beneficial.
Knowledge or experience working with a variety of tools, including hand tools and power tools.
Interest in long-term employment and career growth within a manufacturing environment.
Comfort working in a high-speed, non-assembly-line production setting.
Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Willingness to rotate to other departments over time, such as warehouse or fabrication, when opportunities arise.
Secondary education or training interest related to manufacturing or related fields is viewed favorably.

The role is based in a very large manufacturing facility that operates at a high speed while not following a traditional assembly-line setup. The environment is clean but can become warm during the summer months, as it is not fully temperature controlled. You will work with hand tools, power tools, mechanical components, and production equipment while standing for the entire shift. The dress code aligns with standard manufacturing and safety expectations, including appropriate work attire and any required personal protective equipment. The setting emphasizes safety, teamwork, and productivity, with opportunities to move into other departments over time as business needs and openings allow.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $2285.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
