We're hiring a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to support our North Salt Lake Support Center (Corporate Office). This part-time position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and being the first welcoming face and voice of the company. This role also has the potential to become full-time based on business needs and performance.
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you'll greet visitors, answer and route incoming calls, assist with administrative tasks, and help keep daily office operations running smoothly.

Front Desk Receptionist Job Summary The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the initial point of contact for Ascend Staffing's North Salt Lake office. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting with employment verification processes, maintaining administrative records, and supporting the HR Manager with daily office needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, clerical, receptionist, office assistant, or administrative support experience who is looking for a professional part-time office position with the possibility of growing into a full-time role.
Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities
Greet visitors in a friendly, professional manner and direct them to the appropriate team member
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to the correct branch, department, or individual
Use communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, voicemail transfers, and call forwarding
Assist with employment verification requests and coordinate with the HR team as needed
Maintain and update the company organization chart
Complete weekly audits, reports, and administrative follow-up tasks
Support employee recognition programs by preparing and distributing cards for special occasions
Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail, publications, and correspondence
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
Provide general clerical and administrative support
Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
Front Desk Receptionist Qualifications
Previous customer service, clerical, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Friendly, helpful, and customer-service focused
Comfortable answering phones and interacting with visitors
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
