Delivers non-clinical pre-surgery education, coordinates admission paperwork when needed, and performs other assigned duties.

Responsibilities:
Provides excellent patient service using CARES, AIDET, and EPE, resolving complaints, managing conflict, and supporting patients in the lobby.
Accurately schedules patients, verifies demographics and insurance, explains coverage and financial expectations, and coordinates invasive procedure scheduling and pre-admit appointments.
Ensures all authorizations, referrals, and certifications are secured before procedures and communicates issues to stakeholders.
Guides patients through Release of Information processes, supports patient satisfaction efforts, and completes confirmation calls and other patient-relations tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with medical terminology training. At least 12 months of clinical experience and proficiency in prior authorizations, certifications, and referrals.
Must pass EPIC registration competency.
Schedules appointments and procedures, coordinates complex scheduling needs, and maintains strong organization under pressure.
Possesses working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
