The Judge Group, LLC, New York, NY, United States
Job Title: Performance Analyst
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Duration: Full-Time
Job Description:
About your role:
The Performance Analyst supports the defining and operationalizing of performance metrics and process improvements that translate company strategy into measurable execution. Positioned within Strategic Finance & Operations (SFO), this role works closely with senior leadership across two core areas: helping build and govern the enterprise KPI framework and driving deep process analysis and operational improvement work in support of enterprise performance initiatives. This is a role focused on performance discipline, process insight, and accountability.
What you'll do:
Help define, refine, and maintain enterprise KPIs aligned to strategic priorities, financial outcomes, and operational performance.
Partner with stakeholders across finance, operations, technology, product, and risk to ensure KPIs are economically meaningful, decision-relevant, and consistently understood.
Help build and maintain KPI reporting that gives leadership clear, timely visibility into performance, trends, and inflection points.
Help establish and enforce metric definitions, data sources, ownership, and calculation logic to ensure consistency and credibility across all performance reporting.
Identify leading indicators, changes, and anomalies - and clearly explain what they mean and why they matter.
Conduct deep process analysis across business units - identifying inefficiencies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Help develop and maintain structured frameworks for tracking operational improvement initiatives, milestones, and outcomes.
Partner with business unit leads to understand current-state processes, document findings, and build the case for change.
Translate operational analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership, with supporting evidence and a point of view.
Support AI Infrastructure workstream to maximize the impact of AI on performance measurement and operational execution.
Support leadership on strategic priorities outside of core areas when required - SFO operates horizontally and every team member contributes across initiatives.
Experience you'll need to have:
4+ years of experience in AI, data, technology strategy, analytics, product, finance, operations, or a related business function with responsibility for evaluating and applying technology to business problems
Experience conducting deep operational and process analysis across business units to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Experience building and maintaining executive - level KPI reporting provides clear, timely visibility into performance trends, risks, and inflection points.
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, information systems, analytics, or a related field
Experience that would be great to have:
Experience evaluating AI use cases in finance, operations, product, risk, or enterprise technology environments
Experience supporting build-versus-buy decisions, vendor diligence, or technology strategy initiatives
Proven ability to identify leading indicators, performance shifts, and anomalies-and clearly articulate what they mean and why they matter.
Experience working in ambiguous environments where work products inform senior leadership decisions
