RoleSummary
We are looking for a skilled InventorySpecialist to take on this distinct opportunity at our brand new Devens, MA facility. Atthis site we are replicating current production that is existing in the UK andother US Sites.
Your role as an Inventory Specialist will beresponsible for managing and maintaining a company's inventory levels to ensurethat products are available when needed while minimizing excess stock andcosts. The role involves a combination of administrative, analytical, andoperational tasks.as Inventory Specialist will include the recording and accuracy of thecomponents, finished goods, equipment and supplies. Your main duties includecontrolling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzinginventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.

Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
Track inventory usage and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
Generate purchase orders based on inventory needs.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Monitor lead times and adjust order quantities to optimize inventory levels.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
Use inventory management software to update stock information and generate reports.
Inspect incoming inventory for defects or discrepancies and report any issues.
Ensure that inventory is stored correctly to prevent damage and deterioration.
Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Provide inventory status reports to management and other departments as needed.
Monitor inventory costs and work to minimize expenses related to storage, handling, and obsolescence.
Identify opportunities for cost savings through improved inventory management practices.
Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and finance departments to ensure inventory aligns with company needs.
Communicate effectively to resolve any inventory-related issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
Maintain a safe and organized storage environment.
Utilize inventory management software, barcode scanners, and other technology to streamline inventory processes.
Stay updated on new technologies and practices that can improve inventory management efficiency.
Accuracy in tracking and recording inventory is crucial.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Effective management of inventory requires strong organizational abilities.
Clear communication with suppliers, management, and other departments.
Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
Ability to identify and resolve inventory issues quickly.

This is what you'll need to besuccessful in this role
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred
0-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related operational environment preferred
Working knowledge of MRP systems and experience implementing or operating within inventory planning software
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using computer-based systems and communication tools
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Positive, proactive attitude with enthusiasm for building and scaling a department from the ground up.
This position offers a salary range of (USD 36,000.00 - 49,000.00 Salaried). Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate's expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
