Customer Relations Specialist
Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest.
The Customer Relations Specialist will provide administrative support and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
Hours and Wages
Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
Starting Wage: $22.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to specialized accounts to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
Respond to sales department inquiries, emails, and phone calls
Support existing and new customers regarding services, quotes, etc.
Assist with distributing mass mailings and sending out information packets to potential customers
Field prospective customer calls and follow-up calls with the goal of obtaining new customers
Update customer account information and enter new shipping accounts into system to ensure correct billing records
Compile monthly sales spreadsheets for analysis by management
Perform other related duties as assigned
Provide dedicated support to key shippers within the region
Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related sales program
Education and Experience
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
Sales and/or Marketing experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
