We are searching for a Warehouse Order Picker for our Distribution Center in Vernon Hills, IL. Join our growing and dynamic team and help us pick and pack orders. Must be able to operate sit-down forklift and cherry picker (also called order picker with a harness).
Role Responsibilities
Pick and pack orders (primary function of this role is on-foot picking)
Receive and verify inbound orders
Load and unload trailers
Operate cherry picker with harness to pick or put away materials in the racks (also known as order picker vehicle)
Roll and pack 3x3 laminate sheets
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
1+ year of warehouse experience in a receiving position with similar duties
Good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
Sit-down forklift experience
Role Characteristics
Stands for 3 to 4 hours at a time
Lifts up to 70 pounds
Withstands fluctuating temperature changes
Quickly learns new systems
Has an excellent work ethic
Excels in a quick-paced environment
Is okay with shifting job duties
