Material Handler/Picking
We are currently hiring Material Handler/Picking for Large Manufacturer!
Pay Rate: $16.86
Schedule (Days and Time): 8am-4:30pm
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Picking orders as requested by management.
Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
Count, weigh and record number of units of materials handled on daily production sheet
Locates and loads by hand and with non-motorized equipment customer product onto/from pallets.
Assists in building and grounds maintenance; assists in physical inventories.
Job Requirements
Minimum 6 months experience picking and packing in a manufacturing, or warehouse, environment.
Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds. High School diploma or equivalent required
