Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Metal Polisher to join our team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing metal surfaces to meet quality and production standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
Grind, sand, and polish metal surfaces to meet specifications
Remove dents, scratches, and other surface defects
Inspect materials for flaws, cracks, and imperfections
Mark cracks and splits for repair
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and shop drawings
Complete required production and quality documentation
Ensure finished products meet company quality standards
Operate and maintain polishing equipment properly
Follow OSHA safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
Previous experience in metal polishing or a related field preferred
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Dress Code
Casual attire. Clothing must not be open or ripped. No nail polish, artificial nails, or jewelry allowed.
Additional Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain box-making machinery to produce boxes according to specifications
Ensure product quality, adhere to safety protocols, and perform routine equipment maintenance
