Position Title: Seasonal Scale Weighmaster Clerk
Reports to: Director of Field Operations
Department: Field Operations
Classification: Seasonal, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Pay: $20.75 - $21.50 per hour

Key responsibilities include weighing raw materials, verifying vehicle and load data in compliance with Weight and Measures Standards; and assigning load numbers to maintain traceability and operational efficiency.
During our Harvest season, you will be expected to work at least 6 days a week on a swing shift from 2pm to 10pm to support our Cannery Weighmaster Station. Our Season runs from Mid-July through end of September but could extend.
This position will be primarily responsible for:
Weighing incoming tomatoes, basil, oil, chemicals, and vehicles using certified scales and established procedures.
Verifying vehicle, trailer, and load information for accuracy and compliance with Weight and Measures Standards.
Entering data from multiple sources with a high level of accuracy to support traceability, inventory, and reporting requirements.
Complying with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures; participating in required safety training and reporting unsafe conditions or work practices.
Assisting with training and supporting new and existing weighmasters on established processes, procedures, and systems.
Ensuring tare procedures for trucks and trailers are performed correctly and accurately documented to maintain weighing integrity.
Collecting, validating, and entering truck and trailer data accurately to ensure compliance and traceability.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of two years of experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative support roles.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and standards.
Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in basic math, written communication, and data accuracy skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Physical Requirements: Rare lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; rare stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and moderate fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or less sitting, 25% or less walking, and 50% or less standing. The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is required.
