Job Title
Inspecting Forklift
What You'll Do
Inspecting Forklift
Pulling Hardware, lumber, siding, exterior products
Ensuring loads are built accurately and efficiently
Cleanliness of equipment and yard
Work in a safe manner
Get horizontal Pick Ticket from your assigned box & review to see what materials to pull.
Pick the Long boards first using forks and/or hands to load on Forklift.
Verify the count matches & mark that amount on ticket in Qty Pulled space.
Drive to Banding area & place boards on banding platform. Repeat till all boards pulled.
Band the bundle using bander & strapping material. Spray paint the order # on bundle.
Pick up Bundle, Drive to staging area, & place bundle on wood strips.
Pick the sheet material next using forks to load. Then drive to Plastic wrap station.
Wrap all sheet material & nail plastic to all 4 sides & top. Partials get banded & wrapped.
Verify the count matches & mark that amount on ticket. Spray paint order # on Side.
Move wrapped sheets to staging area. Place ticket vertical in box.
