Forklift Operator
The Forklift Operator safely and efficiently operates forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, stage, load, and store raw materials, packaging, and finished garlic and onion powder products within warehouse and production areas. This role supports production flow, shipping and receiving operations, and inventory accuracy while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. The position requires the ability to pivot quickly between warehouse and production areas and to handle high stacking of drums and totes in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or electric forklifts to move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production areas.
Stack drums and totes up to five levels high, including rows extending up to 20 positions deep, while maintaining stability and safety.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, including flatbed trucks, ensuring accurate counts and careful handling of food products.
Stage materials for production lines and transfer finished product to designated storage or shipping locations.
Unload products and stage them in proper areas according to established procedures and inventory requirements.
Pick drums and totes and securely load them onto trucks for shipment.
Use RF scanners, inventory systems, or required paperwork to track product movement and maintain inventory accuracy.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to support accurate stock levels and documentation.
Perform product rotation using FIFO/FEFO methods to maintain product quality and compliance.
Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and immediately report any mechanical or safety issues.
Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and allergen-control procedures at all times in warehouse and production areas.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.40 - $21.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
