Veterinary Criticalist Opportunity
Buffalo Veterinary Group, a leading specialty and emergency hospital in Buffalo, New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Criticalist to join its growing, progressive team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emergency and critical care, possess strong leadership abilities, and demonstrate a passion for providing the highest quality of care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving referral hospital that offers a dynamic caseload, state-of-the-art facility and equipment, while working with a collaborative team of additional specialists and experienced emergency clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced critical care to patients in the ICU
Oversee and manage the emergency and critical care department
Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients
Collaborate with other veterinary specialists and support staff
Mentor and train veterinary interns, residents, and technicians
Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary emergency and critical care
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Compensation: Starting salary $250,000-350,000 (negotiable based on experience and credentials) plus bonus opportunity. Additional relocation assistance available

Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York (or able to apply)
Board certification or nearing completion of residency program in applicable specialty area
