Buffalo Veterinary Group , a leading specialty and emergency hospital in Buffalo, New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join its growing, progressive team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience providing comprehensive ophthalmic care, possess strong leadership abilities, and demonstrate a passion for providing the highest quality of care to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving referral hospital that offers a dynamic caseload, state-of-the-art facility and equipment, while working with a collaborative team of additional specialists and experienced emergency clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care

Collaborate with other veterinary specialists and support staff

Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary Ophthalmology

Teach and mentor medical students

Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Compensation

Starting salary $250,000-350,000k/yr (negotiable based on experience and credentials) plus bonus opportunity. Additional relocation assistance available

Requirements

Board-certifiedor board-eligible in Ophthalmology

Strong commitment to patient care and education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
