PC Support Technician I

Role Overview

This role focuses on imaging and deploying desktops and laptops. The position also involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues across Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office environments. The contract is scheduled through August 31, 2026, with a possibility for extension.

Key Responsibilities
Perform imaging and deployment of desktops and laptops.
Provide support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Support various Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office versions (2016, 2019, Office 365).
Document and complete work orders using a ticketing system.
Manage Windows profiles to support information transfers between computers.
Utilize enterprise support tools such as Active Directory and SCCM.
Address client-side connectivity issues related to TCP/IP and DNS.
Required Qualifications

Experience:

2 years of experience with imaging, deployment, and support of desktops and laptops.
2 years of experience supporting current Microsoft Office Suites (2016, 2019, Office 365).
2 years of experience providing software support for desktop applications.
2 years of experience supporting current Windows Operating Systems.
2 years of experience with hardware break-fix processes for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of ticketing systems.
Knowledge of Windows installation, support, and troubleshooting tools.
Knowledge of Windows profile management.
Knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, and other enterprise support tools.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and client-side connectivity troubleshooting.

Additional Requirements:

Must have reliable personal transportation for use during work hours.
Ability to physically lift items up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to pass a CJIS nationwide fingerprint criminal background check.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is between $16.00 and $22.00 per hour.
