Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
Manage opening and/or closing.
Monitoring of route timeliness
Use of mapping and GPS programs
Ability to re-route vehicles when logistically necessary.
Liaison between drivers, Amazon staff and management.
Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
Dispatch order to messengers and drivers
Provide accurate, valid and complete information for every delivery.
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Manage On the Road accidents and incidents professionally.
Drive as needed.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively,
Ability to read delivery documents, customer order information, directions, etc. in English
Must be able to use your cell phone (iPhone, Android etc ) with a data plan for working purposes.

Qualifications
Valid State Driver License
Strong customer service experience
Use of mapping and GPS programs
Ability to provide directions.
Basic computer skills (including Google Docs and Sheets)
Eligible to work in the U.S
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be 21+ and have a valid Class E driver's license.
Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, GVWR 10,000 lbs. or less.
Must be able to move boxes up to 50 - 75 lbs., without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to easily enter and exit out of the van, without reasonable accommodation.
