Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector performs inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. This role supports quality control activities, maintains accurate documentation, and helps drive continuous improvement by identifying issues and recommending corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, components, and finished goods using visual checks and precision measurement tools.
Conduct routine and non-routine testing; interpret results and determine product acceptability.
Document all inspection and test data with accuracy and traceability.
Calibrate and maintain inspection and lab equipment.
Support investigations of nonconformances and contribute to corrective/preventive actions.
Apply GD&T when interpreting blueprints and inspection requirements.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes.
Maintain cleanliness and follow all safety procedures in lab and production areas.
Essential Skills

12 years of aerospace inspection experience.
Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other precision tools.
Basic understanding of CMM equipment.
Strong math skills (algebra, geometry) for dimensional analysis.
Solid problem-solving, documentation, and communication abilities.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with ISO 9000/AS9100 standards.
Experience with composite or metallic aerospace components.
High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to work cross-functionally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
