Sunset Automotive Group is a locally and family-owned dealership family with 10 brands across 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Since 1979, we've built a reputation for integrity, stability, and a strong community presence. We're seeking an automotive dealership Accounting Clerk to join our professional accounting department at our Sunset Cadillac of Venice location.
Role Overview
As an Accounting Clerk with Sunset Automotive Group, you'll be a key part of our finance and operations team, supporting the dealership's accounting functions in a friendly, professional environment. This is a full-time, MondayFriday position with standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently and accurately complete accounting processes to support dealership operations
Maintain accurate accounting records in computer systems
Assist with month-end reconciliations and other accounting tasks
Support the accounting department and dealership operations as needed
May handle some phone duties and work collaboratively in a team setting
Accounting Office Qualifications
12 years of automotive accounting experience (title clerk, AP/AR, costing, or similar roles preferred)
Computer literate with Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency
Strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and critical thinking skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a team environment
Reynolds & Reynolds systems experience is a plus, but not required
