Warehouse Coordinator
The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and timely shipping and receiving. This position serves as a key liaison between warehouse staff, logistics teams, vendors, and internal departments to maintain smooth workflow and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Schedule inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries
Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts
Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and dispatching
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
Assist in resolving logistical and operational issues
Support supervisors and managers with documentation, reporting, and compliance tasks
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software for tracking
Supervise warehouse staff and provide training on safety procedures and operational protocols
Implement and enforce warehouse safety and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP)
Prepare reports on inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse performance
Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and accuracy
Follow Food Safety and Security Standards; report any food safety or quality issues immediately
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics or supply chain preferred. 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination. Bilingual proficiency (Spanish and English), preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Familiarity with logistics software and WMS platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment. Occasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs.
