Project Assistant
The basic function of a Project Assistant is to perform administrative duties related to the operations of the department.
Responsibilities and duties include:
Running transmittals and physical samples to the General Contractor.
Conducting site visits for gathering schedule updates, Foreman action items, GC action items, and assisting in new initiatives.
Monitoring and reviewing update documentation (i.e. RFIs, CCDs, ASIs, Bulletins, etc.).
Pricing up Tickets and Change Order work.
Generating logistical plans and building out the project's Gantt Chart.
Generating Submittal Packages, Transmittals, Shop Drawings, and maintaining material records and any resubmittals.
Maintaining BlueBeam, SharePoint, etc.
Reviewing Dailies and Production Reports.
Receiving and distributing departmental reports.
Scheduling and organizing appointments, taking minutes during departmental meetings.
Proofing and typing documents and correspondence produced by the department.
Processing, sorting, scanning, and filing weekly field-related documents.
Aiding in the preparation of department reports.
