Patient Care Representative
Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Patient Care Representative is responsible for managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients with scheduling, registration, and general inquiries, and supporting front desk operations. This role ensures smooth communication between patients and clinical staff while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Greet patients and families at the front desk upon entering the office
Answer and route incoming calls promptly and professionally
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic health records
Receive and respond to messages via voicemail and Patient Portal for urgent and non-urgent appointments
Verify patient demographic and insurance information
Follow communication scripts and protocols for various patient interactions
Administrative duties and projects assigned as needed
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm OR
Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Physical Demands:
Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication.
Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include lifting of supplies, equipment, or babies and small children; extensive bending, standing, walking or sitting may be required.
Ability to deal effectively with stress.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Requirements:
High school diploma or graduation equivalency degree (GED)
Experience with Epic EMR helpful
Minimum age - 18yrs
Bilingual - Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking highly preferred
