Dock Coordinator (Outbound) 2nd Shift
Work with the Dock lead to coordinate the preparation, loading and finalization of all outbound routes for the Four Seasons Family of Companies utilizing outbound Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Schedule: 2nd shift, 4:00 pm start. Front half Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday. Location: Ephrata, PA (onsite).
What you get to do as a Dock Coordinator:
Effectively coordinate the docking of trailers with the yard jockeys and Planning team.
Communicate and update Warehouse Operation Leads and Management team on changes and challenges, including schedule changes, load issues, QC issues, etc.
Assist Guardhouse staff and Planning team with customer pick-ups, outside carrier appointments and other changes to the established daily plan. Ensure all important changes are communicated to the Guardhouse, Warehouse and Planning teams.
Record trailer temperatures prior to loading and the temperature of the last pallet loaded on the trailer. Validate that all trailers are loaded properly with correct equipment and that the load is secured and sealed.
Ensure that the Daily Outbound log is completed, and that all loading paperwork is completed properly prior to being turned over to the Transportation office.
Assist Operations as needed.
What you bring:
Valid equipment certification for pallet jack, forklift and hi-lift
Ideally a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of warehouse operations / outbound loading experience
Minimum of 18 years of age
Prior experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software preferred
Solid computer skills, with the ability to learn new software
Ability to use RF equipment, scanners, voice units and headsets
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and make sound decisions
