Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate supports a large data center operation by accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping servers and related equipment. This role requires strong computer skills to manage inventory in Excel, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work in a clean, organized warehouse environment on a structured weekly schedule.
Responsibilities

Receive incoming servers and related materials for a large data center, verifying quantities and inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.
Accurately record and update inventory information using computer systems, including Excel and Word.
Pick and pack server orders according to work orders and shipping documents, ensuring correct items, quantities, and labeling.
Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, including packaging, palletizing, and staging materials for carriers.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and moving products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and other material handling tools.
Assist with mechanical and general assembly tasks as needed to support warehouse and data center operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following OSHA 10 safety practices and warehouse standards.
Conduct basic construction, assembly, and mechanical assembly tasks when required for equipment setup or packaging solutions.
Follow established work schedules, including working from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday.
Wear required composite toe shoes and any other designated personal protective equipment while on the warehouse floor.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals and support continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Essential Skills

Proven experience with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel for inventory tracking and Word for basic documentation.
Ability to accurately handle inventory, including counting, labeling, and data entry.
Good attention to detail to ensure correct items, quantities, and documentation for all orders and shipments.
Knowledge of OSHA 10 safety principles and commitment to working safely in a warehouse environment.
Experience with material handling activities, including loading, unloading, and moving products.
Ability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse setting.
Ability to wear and work in composite toe shoes for the duration of the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse supporting data center equipment or technology products.
Experience in construction, assembly, mechanical assembly, or mechanical work.
Forklift experience and comfort using other material handling equipment.
OSHA 10 training or certification.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Willingness to learn and grow into additional responsibilities over time.

The role requires wearing composite toe shoes and following established safety and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
