Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a skilled Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple full-time positions are available, serving a dynamic and diverse caseload of 34 students within a collaborative and supportive environment. This in-person role is scheduled from August 31, 2026, to June 17, 2027, providing you with the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the school year. Your expertise will help students of various ages achieve greater independence and success in their daily routines. As part of a motivated team, you’ll collaborate with educators and other specialists to develop and implement individualized therapy programs with the flexibility to shape your approach based on student needs. Required Qualifications:Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license Current Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred Strong communication and organizational abilities Empathetic, student-centered mindset Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Key Responsibilities:Assess students functional abilities and develop intervention plans Deliver direct therapy and consultative services within educational settings Document progress and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff Support generalization of skills within the classroom and school environments Adapt interventions to fit the diverse needs of students on your caseload
