Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a Physical Therapist specializing in 1:1 pediatric care, you’ll play a vital role in helping a student who uses a wheelchair access their school, participate in activities, and maximize their mobility. Your skills will empower this student for the entire 2026-2027 academic year, providing continuity and meaningful clinical impact. Key Qualifications:Active North Carolina Physical Therapy (PT) License required Experience delivering PT services in school settings, ideally with pediatric populations Prior 1:1 mobility and positioning support experience preferred Skilled with adaptive equipment and mobility aids Strong interpersonal/communication skills for working collaboratively with staff

Primary Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 physical therapy to a student requiring full-time mobility support Implement evidence-based interventions focused on mobility, positioning, and accessibility Collaborate with teachers, aides, and family to develop and track progress toward IEP goals Conduct regular assessments and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes Maintain diligent and timely documentation Communicate effectively with the school team and student’s family

This contract assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 13, 2027, for 30 minutes to 1 hour of direct therapy per week.
