Job Summary
The Sous Chef is responsible for executing high-quality cuisine, leading the culinary team, and ensuring operational excellence while meeting cost goals and upholding company standards and values.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Execute menus and maintain recipe standards
Ensure consistent, high-quality food and guest experience
Conduct daily kitchen walkthroughs and maintain show quality
Gather guest feedback and support continuous improvement
Address guest service issues and support company initiatives
Controls
Utilize systems for purchasing, POS, and labor management
Manage inventory, product handling, and cost controls
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and security standards
Forecast, schedule, and plan for operational needs
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop team members
Support hiring, training, and performance management
Foster a positive, productive team environment
Qualifications
3+ years in a culinary leadership role
Culinary degree preferred
Strong financial and operational knowledge
High computer proficiency
Strong communication and leadership skills
Passion for hospitality and food
