Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking an ADP Payroll & Benefits Specialist for an onsite (5 days per week) contract to hire role. Summary: This is a critical operational role responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll and benefits administration for approximately 400 employees across multiple U.S. states. The team is open to hiring either a junior payroll professional (1-2 years of experience) who can be trained, or a senior payroll specialist with deeper ADP and multi-state experience. While the role may begin as contract or contract-to-hire, the long‑term goal is to convert a dependable payroll professional who is committed to growing with the organization.

Entering, updating, and removing garnishments and child support orders

Ensuring garnishment calculations and deductions are correct

Verifying 401(k) loans and demographic file feeds

Submitting payroll changes and corrections in ADP

Downloading and auditing payroll reports

Supporting payroll reconciliations and discrepancy resolution

Coordinating with accounting on benefits‑related invoicing and reconciliations

Validating, auditing, and inputting payroll data in ADP

Reviewing payroll outputs for accuracy before processing

Total Employees Supported: ~400

Payroll Cycle: Bi‑weekly

States Supported: Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Texas

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist supports the execution and administration of existing benefits programs, including:

Open enrollment support

Employee benefit activation and deactivation

Ensuring employees are enrolled in the correct plans

Responding to employee benefits questions and concerns

Troubleshooting benefits‑related issues

Hands‑on ADP payroll experience (hard requirement)

Bilingual: English & Spanish

Multi‑state payroll exposure, including varying wage, tax, and compliance requirements

Proven attention to detail with an audit‑focused mindset

Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees

Willingness and ability to work fully on‑site (no hybrid or remote options)

Successful candidates will:

Follow established processes and checklists without skipping steps

Be detail‑oriented, methodical, and audit‑focused

Take accountability for errors and proactively correct them

Value accuracy, ethics, and compliance over speed

Be organized, reliable, and consistent

Demonstrate commitment to long‑term team integration

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
