Position Summary
Real Life Christian Academy is seeking a
Preschool Lead Teacher
to serve at our Mt. Dora campus preschool. This full-time, Monday–Friday position plays a vital role in nurturing and guiding young children through a Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support a Christ-centered, positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Nurture and guide children to promote social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth through our curriculum and age-appropriate lessons
Complete bi-annual child assessments and parent meetings
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents, families, and co-workers
Lead, train, and support Teacher Assistants and Substitute Teachers
Education and Credentials
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have an active Early Childhood Credential (ex. CDA, FCCPC, NECC) or a degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited school
If degree is out of field, must have a DCF Staff Credential
Adhere to our accreditation guidelines for Lead Teachers
Background Screening Requirement
All candidates considered for employment with Real Life Christian Academy are required to complete a
fingerprint-based background screening
in accordance with Florida Department of Education requirements. This process is administered through the
Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse .
