- Heavy cardiac focus required, thoracic preferred, but not required
- Practice Setting: Hospital Based
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: 1-2
- Annual ER Volume: 30,000
- Number of Operating Rooms: 1 Heart, 1 Hybrid
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
- Ancillary Staff: First Assist with Endoscopic Saphenous Vein Harvest experience
- Patient Age Demographic: Adult, Geriatric
- Responsibilities/Duties: Adult Cardiac Surgery (Required), General Thoracic Surgery (Preferred), Congenital Cardiac Surgery, CABG, Off-Pump CABG, Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Tracheostomy, Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms, Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy Lung Biopsy, Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy, Thoracotomy Decortication, Mediastinal Surgery, Mediastinotomy and Biopsy, Surgical "Open" Aneurysm Repair, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, Mitral Valve Repair
Requirements
- Board Certified
- BLS Certified
- KY License - Preferred; willing to accept candidates needing to obtain a license
- Clean Background
- Impella support (Insertion/Removal/Bailout)
- Structural Heart Support (in Hybrid OR / Cath Lab)
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days)
