Clinical Pharmacist - ID / ASP

Position Summary

This position will lead the Antimicrobial Stewardship activities for Sinai Hospital and serve as the Pharmacy Infectious Diseases expert for the facility. Under limited supervision, you will plan, coordinate, implement, and administer the post‑graduate pharmacy education training program, ensuring compliance with institutional and ASHP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop and oversee the post‑graduate pharmacy education training program.
• Ensure adherence to ASHP policies and institutional protocols.
• Provide expert clinical consultation on infectious diseases.

Qualifications

• PharmB, MSc Pharm, or PharmD degree.
• PGY‑1 + PGY‑2 residency in a specialty area plus board certification, or PGY‑1 residency plus two additional years of direct patient care with board certification, or four post‑graduate practice years of direct patient care with board certification.
• Current Maryland pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one.
