Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join our team at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona-conveniently located just a short drive from San Diego, California. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality neonatal care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment while enjoying a desirable Southwest lifestyle.
Neonatologist Position Highlights

19-bed High Level II Equivalent (Level II EQ) NICU caring for neonates as early as 28 weeks gestation
Average daily census of 11-13 infants, supporting a manageable and patient-focused practice
24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage, promoting continuity of care and clinical excellence
Neonatologists attend high-risk deliveries for infants

Neonatologist will practice within an integrated, physician-led network of:

28 neonatologists
42 neonatal nurse practitioners
2 physician assistants
providing coordinated, multi-level neonatal services across Arizona

Exposure to advanced clinical care and technologies, including ECMO, high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), oscillator ventilation, and participation in clinical research

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment
Ability to obtain AZ licensure
