
Maintenance Technician (Swing Shift) (Tualatin)

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to work independently while supporting production uptime.
Shift & Schedule
Swing Shift:
Tuesday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
What is the Job?
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and conveyor systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Diagnose and repair motors, relays, switches, overloads, power supplies, and transformers
Complete minor and major equipment repairs
Follow all safety policies, including PPE and OSHA standards
Work closely with production supervisors to minimize downtime
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspections and documentation
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately
Perform other duties as assigned
What is Needed?
High School diploma or GED
3+ years
of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (conveyors, production equipment)
Working knowledge of electrical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret schematics and parts drawings
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Proficient with hand and power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills (read, write, and speak English)
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Ability to work swing shift and overtime as needed
Preferred Experience
Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic background
Forklift or lift‑truck repair experience
Manufacturing or corrugated/packaging industry experience
