Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd Shift

2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
We’re partnering with a food manufacturing company in Lake Villa that is looking to add a hands‑on Maintenance Mechanic to support production on 2nd shift.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with food manufacturing maintenance experience who enjoys working directly on production equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on:
Blending & cooking equipment
Continuous and batch ovens
Mechanical freezers
VFFS (vertical form‑fill‑seal) packaging lines
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including:
Cylinders, valves, regulators, manifolds, and air prep units
Support equipment uptime and production efficiency on 2nd shift
What We’re Looking For
Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
Comfortable supporting production equipment on an off‑shift schedule
