Maintenance Manager (Lewisburg)

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance department operations to ensure the facility runs safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. This leadership role focuses on driving maximum machine uptime through the development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance plans while managing the departmental budget and capital improvement projects.

Beyond technical oversight, the manager provides daily guidance to a team of technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and safety compliance. By analyzing downtime root causes and collaborating cross-functionally with plant leadership, the Maintenance Manager ensures the operation meets its production goals while maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience : 8+ years of combined technical and management experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the food manufacturing industry.

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with GFSI/BRC, SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, and control systems.

Systems : Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems) and AutoCAD is a plus. Proficiency in digital tools like OneNote and iPads is expected.

Leadership : Exceptional decision-making, communication, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Physical/Schedule:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 52 lbs; flexibility to work weekends as needed.
