Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their veterinary team providing care for companion animals. The hospital is a well-established full-service practice serving the Loxahatchee, Wellington, and Royal Palm Beach communities, focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment and providing comprehensive patient care. Working Hours / Rota The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays. The hospital offers both appointment-based and walk-in care six days per week. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals. Responsibilities include performing examinations, interpreting diagnostic results, developing treatment plans, performing soft tissue surgery, and guiding clients on wellness and preventative care. The role also includes maintaining medical records, collaborating with the veterinary and support teams, and ensuring high standards of patient care and client communication. This position is open to experienced veterinarians. Practice Details The hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic offering comprehensive care for companion animals. Equipment and services include in-house blood testing, in-house urinalysis, digital X-ray, spay and neuter procedures, dentistry, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and tick prevention and treatment, heartworm prevention and treatment, physical examinations, puppy wellness visits, mass and tumor removals, and health and travel certificates. The practice provides both appointment-based and walk-in care, allowing for a varied caseload including wellness, diagnostics, and surgical services. Team The hospital has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment focused on providing compassionate veterinary care.
