Contract Length:
12 Months (Backfill) - Possibility to Extend or Convert
Pay Rate: $ 69 - $74
Top Requirements:
7+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience
(mandatory; no Oracle or other DB substitutions).
7+ years developing database objects
including tables, views, complex stored procedures, and userdefined functions.
5+ years of SQL performance tuning experience , supporting highvolume, highusage applications.
2+ years of Tableau reporting experience , building stakeholderfacing dashboards and reports.

Plusses:
5+ years of data modeling and database design

3+ years working in Agile / Scrum environments .
Prior experience supporting
regulatory, policy, or governance platforms .

Job Summary:
The Software Engineer 4 (Sr. SQL Server Developer with Tableau experience) will support a highvisibility, homegrown policy governance platform used for RAPU, regulatory, and policy updates. This is a greenfieldenhancement initiative where the platform is already built and continues to expand with new capabilities. The role requires leadlevel technical depth in SQL Server and Tableau, supporting a highuseractivity application through data modeling, performance tuning, and reporting. This contractor will collaborate closely with stakeholders while adhering to strict regulatory, compliance, and governance standards. The role does not include people management responsibilities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain
SQL Server database objects
(tables, views, stored procedures, UDFs)
Perform
advanced SQL performance tuning
for highvolume and highusage systems
Support
Tableau dashboard and report development
for business and compliance stakeholders
Participate in
Scrum-based Agile development
on a growing greenfield platform
Contribute to enhancements of a
policy governance platform
supporting RAPU and regulatory updates
Partner with application developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient data solutions
Ensure adherence to
data governance, security, and compliance requirements
Review code and support continuous improvement initiatives
Support production systems; overnight release participation only in rare circumstances
