Sr Automation Tools Developer

The Senior Test Automation Tools Developer will be responsible for developing, configuring and maintaining the automated testing frameworks for software and hardware products.

Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and maintain tools used for automated testing of various products
Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for end-to-end scenarios, UI, Mobile, API, Firmware and hardware integration testing
Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
Support agile teams including platform teams who are continuously delivering
Troubleshoot and validate software issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor ofSoftware Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree
At least 5 years of experience in test automation tool development for use in Quality Assurance testing activities
Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, drivers, and User Interface applications
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, and C
Experience with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Jenkins, etc.
Experience developing tests that execute the interaction between firmware, software and irrigation hardware
Experience with relational database creation and management using SQL Server
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration with automation tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and version control systems such as Git
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
AssistinidentifyingDesign for Testability (DFT) requirements
Team player with excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
Experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new automation tools and technologies

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working with irrigation products and systems
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Zephyr
Familiarity with SAFe methodology
Test automation experience working with integration of hardware, firmware and software
Experience leveraging AI to create efficiencies within manual and automated testing
