Hiring: Sr. Procurement Specialist (Electrical / Power Systems)
Were seeking an experienced
Senior Procurement Specialist
to lead sourcing and purchasing for complex electrical equipment supporting industrial operations and capital projects.
What Youll Do:
Manage procurement of switchgear, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, and power distribution systems
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with key suppliers
Review technical specs and ensure alignment with engineering requirements
Track procurement status, long-lead items, and project costs
Manage supplier performance, expediting, and issue resolution
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support project execution
Support inventory planning, spare parts, and cost optimization initiatives
What Were Looking For:
7+ years of procurement experience (5+ years in electrical/power systems)
Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and ability to read schematics/one-lines
Proven negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have:
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
Experience in EPC, industrial power, or energy projects
Background in sourcing long-lead capital equipment
