Vaco has partnered with an organization that is seeking an experienced Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Consultant to support an assessment and process improvement initiative. This consultant will evaluate the current CLM process, identify gaps, and develop a detailed roadmap to improve efficiency, visibility, and cross?functional alignment. This is a short?term, part?time engagement ideal for a hands?on CLM expert with strong stakeholder management skills.

$60–$80 per hour (depending on experience)
Project Duration:

4–6 weeks
Time Commitment:

Approximately 10–15 hours per week

Responsibilities Include:

Assess the client’s current contract lifecycle management process, including intake, execution, renewals, and governance

Partner closely with the legal team to evaluate contract workflows and pain points

Review and document the current contract renewal process and identify opportunities for improvement

Develop a clear, actionable CLM roadmap to drive process enhancements and scalability

Collaborate with operations, finance, and procurement teams to align on the future?state process and roadmap

Document current?state and future?state processes, including workflows and handoffs

Provide recommendations related to CLM tools, configuration, and best practices

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing or advising on Contract Lifecycle Management processes

Prior hands?on experience with CLM tools and platforms required

Strong understanding of end?to?end contract workflows, including renewals and cross?functional dependencies

Experience working closely with legal, finance, operations, and procurement teams

Ability to translate complex processes into clear documentation and practical roadmaps

Consulting or project?based experience strongly preferred
