Electrical Safety Director – Houston, TX
We’re partnering with a leading electrical contractor to hire an experienced
Electrical Safety Director
to lead safety strategy and compliance across major construction projects throughout Texas.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving a
best‑in‑class safety culture , ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting teams working in complex electrical environments.
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop company‑wide electrical safety programs and initiatives
Ensure compliance with
OSHA, NFPA 70E , and all applicable safety standards
Conduct jobsite audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Deliver safety training to field teams, supervisors, and project leadership
Partner with operations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of safety leadership experience in construction or industrial environments
Strong expertise in
electrical safety standards and compliance
Certifications such as
CSP, CHST , or similar strongly preferred
Proven ability to lead, influence, and build a culture of safety
Willingness to travel to jobsites across Texas
