All candidates must complete an on-line application to be considered.**JOB SUMMARY**The Senior Director, Pre-Sales & Onboard Revenue Optimization is responsible for spearheading the long-term strategic vision and fleet-wide execution of onboard digital commerce. This role serves as a principal revenue leader, driving sustainable growth through the governance of innovative Pre-Sales platforms, advanced data-driven optimization, and high-impact guest-facing digital experiences. The Senior Director oversees high-level cross-functional collaboration to deliver technology-enabled solutions that maximize profitability and elevate the guest journey.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES*** Strategic Governance: Define and champion the multi-year onboard Pre-Sales roadmap across the fleet, ensuring digital merchandising and personalized offer strategies achieve aggressive revenue targets.* Advanced Revenue Insight: Oversee the synthesis of complex guest data, campaign performance, and market intelligence to identify large-scale revenue opportunities and guide executive-level decision-making.* Enterprise Project Leadership: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of mission-critical Pre-Sales initiatives, including major platform migrations, new revenue stream development, and fleet-wide technology integrations.* Innovation & AI Advocacy: Scale the use of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to refine predictive revenue capabilities and streamline the global digital guest purchase journey.* P&L Management & KPI Ownership: Own the global onboard digital commerce P&L, establishing rigorous commercial benchmarks and delivering strategic performance narratives to senior executive leadership.* Digital Guest Experience Excellence: Lead the continuous optimization of global user interfaces and checkout flows to maximize conversion rates and total average order value across all digital touchpoints.* Ecosystem Alignment: Foster deep strategic alignment between Revenue Management, Marketing, IT, and Operations to ensure a cohesive commercial execution across both digital and physical onboard environments.* Market Leadership: Monitor global Pre-Sales trends and the competitive landscape to maintain a long-term competitive advantage for the brand.* Organizational Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of specialists and managers, cultivating a culture of innovation, accountability, and high-level commercial impact.**QUALIFICATIONS****DEGREE TYPE**Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or relevant Master’s degree strongly preferred.**FIELD(S) OF STUDY**Business Administration, Marketing, eCommerce, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, or related field.**EXPERIENCE*** Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in eCommerce, digital commerce, or online revenue management.* At least 5 years in a significant leadership capacity, demonstrating the ability to manage teams and complex organizational structures.* Proven track record of driving substantial, measurable revenue growth through digital channels at an enterprise scale.* Extensive experience leading high-stakes, cross-functional projects from initial conception through global delivery.* Experience in travel, hospitality, or the cruise industry is strongly preferred.**COMPETENCIES & SKILLS*** Executive Presence: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at the C-Suite and VP levels.* Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical focus on data-driven decision-making and total revenue optimization.* Commercial Acumen: Mastery of P&L management and building sophisticated business cases for large-scale technology investments.* Technical Fluency: Proficient in eCommerce platforms and analytics ecosystems (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics).* Resilience: Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change within a fast-paced, evolving global environment.**ABOUT NCLH**
