Job Overview
Lead and execute dealer communications for Mercedes‑Benz One Customer Unit to support enterprise business goals, core sales objectives, and brand loyalty across Passenger Car and Vans. This role owns the end‑to‑end dealer communication strategy, ensuring clear, consistent, and high‑impact messaging across digital, executive, and event‑based channels. Responsibilities include content development and execution, executive ghostwriting, dealer communications, sales program messaging, and publication of the digital dealer magazine, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders, field leadership, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Lead One Customer Unit dealer communication strategy aligned with core sales priorities and enterprise initiatives.

Develop, write, edit, and publish dealer‑facing communications including dealer notices, sales program announcements, organizational and process updates, and strategic messaging.

Ensure communications support key company objectives across Passenger Car and Vans businesses.

Own messaging cadence and content quality to drive clarity, dealer engagement, and consistency with brand standards.

Provide executive ghostwriting support for MBFS leadership and One Customer Unit management.

Translate complex business topics into clear, concise, and dealer‑relevant messaging.

Lead copywriting and editorial development for three issues annually of the Inside Track digital dealer magazine.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including Dealers, MBUSA, Field, Regional Managers, DRMs, and MBFS senior leadership.

Manage vendor relationships with communications partners, providing strategic direction for copywriting, editing, and creative execution to ensure brand‑aligned output and service‑level performance.

Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience

Communications – Proficient (3)

Marketing

Understanding of MBFS operations including Retail Credit, Funding, Remarketing, Collections, Dealer Credit, Aftermarket Products and Commercial Vans business.

Required Skills

Analytical Skills – Ability to collect data, establish facts, identify trends and variances; integrate information from a variety of sources with varying complexity; formulate and test hypotheses for forecasting outcomes.

PC Skills – Microsoft Office

Presentation Skills

Problem Solving Skills

Project Management Skills – Project leader

Additional Skills/Experience Needed

Develop and execute an MBFS dealer communication strategy in support of brand loyalty and sales.

Solicit input/feedback to understand dealer concerns, areas of opportunity, and business goals; work in a cooperative teaming environment with business teams.

Education

Required Degree Type: Bachelor’s Degree. Field of study: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications.
