Field Compensation Consultant

MassMutual, Springfield, MA, United States

The Opportunity
We’re excited to welcome a Field Compensation Consultant to our team! In this role, you’ll help shape and manage impactful field compensation programs for the MMFA organization—including secondary compensation programs—through end-to-end program management: design, strategic analysis, regulatory compliance, financial analysis and modeling, and ongoing program governance. You’ll collaborate closely with our field force, financial consultants, regional heads of field management, and executive leaders to advise on programs and communicate them effectively. You’ll also partner with Finance and Technology to bring ideas to life, lead complex projects with real ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll dig into problems and drive solutions.

The Team
The Compensation Program Management team is a high-visibility, high-impact group that delivers meaningful results for both internal and external partners. We work hand-in-hand with the broader Compensation Design team to research, model, and solve complex program challenges—and we are trusted across the organization to turn insights into clear, actionable solutions. Our work is highly collaborative, partnering with Legal, IT, Actuarial, Field Management, Operations, Accounting, Compliance, and MMLIS. Team members take ownership of key programs, support one another on priority work, and bring creativity, agility, resilience, and attention to detail to everything we do. Success in this role requires strong communication and the ability to influence in a matrixed environment—and you’ll see the impact of your work every day.
