JOB SUMMARY
Overseeing Clinician Staff: Assist the Director of Nursing in managing and leading a team of clinicians, ensuring they provide compassionate and high-quality care. Collaborate with the nursing team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Support and guide clinicians in the implementation of care plans.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) Oversight: Work closely with the QA team to implement and maintain quality assurance programs. Participate in regular audits of patient records to ensure compliance with regulations and organizational standards. Identify areas for improvement and collaborate on implementing corrective actions.
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and interventions, as needed. Collaborate with clinicians to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Ensure timely and appropriate services are delivered to meet patients' healthcare needs.
Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative environment among the healthcare team to enhance communication and coordination. Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including physicians and families.
Training and Development: Assist in organizing and conducting ongoing training and development programs for clinical staff. Keep the team informed about industry best practices, policies, and regulatory updates. Support the professional growth of clinicians through mentorship and guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed as a registered nurse to practice in the state.
Ability to work independently, make accurate and at times, quick judgments.
Ability to supervise others appropriately. Ability to respond appropriately to crises outside of a hospital setting.
Experience
Registered Nurse: 10 years (Preferred)
Active patient contact within the past three years is preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
License
Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
