Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in Last Mile Execution to focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of the operation. The role is based in Hermosillo, Sonora, MX and requires collaboration across business and technical teams to manage Under the Roof (UTR) performance, drive continuous improvement, and enhance carrier performance.

Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day management of the Last Mile Operation in the North Region, oversight of UTR operations, and partnership with AMZL Delivery Station On the Road (OTR) management to establish quality control standards. Additional key responsibilities include:

Setting and communicating performance goals, creating expectations, and achieving customer promise expectations.

Leading a team of Delivery Station Managers, conducting meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties.

Maximizing productivity through training, analysis, and feedback of performance data.

Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and applying Lean tools.

Providing tactical leadership on strategic initiatives and coordinating cross‑functional tasks.

Communicating across various areas to align goals and tasks for program success.

Strategic planning and forecasting to assess performance and resolve problems.

Managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and executing cross‑functional projects with data gathering, manipulation, analysis, and communication of insights and recommendations.

Reviewing operational forecast and determining productivity requirements for sort operations, and managing a team group to meet building goals.

Supporting safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery Service Providers.

Supporting a team of OTR and Delivery Service Providers in weekly management of the last mile operation, including meetings, training sessions, assigning duties, data analysis, metrics review, and communication with DSPs and their drivers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

2+ years of employee and performance management experience.

Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Knowledge of advanced English at CEFR level B2/C1.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques experience.
