Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Data Scientist for Cyber Security to join their team. As a Data Scientist for Cyber Security, you will be part of the Data Security and Analytics group supporting Threat Operations, Detection Engineering, Cyber Resiliency, Data Engineering, and Security Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical rigor, collaborative spirit, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $90.00 - $95.00/hr
What's the Job?
Develop statistical models, analytical methods, and machine learning approaches to identify threats, anomalies, and risk patterns across security telemetry.
Apply data science techniques to support threat detection, prioritization, and response optimization.
Perform exploratory data analysis to surface insights related to adversary behavior, attack paths, and control effectiveness.
Build analytical frameworks that measure cyber resiliency, recovery readiness, and operational performance across critical products and infrastructure.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights for operational teams and senior leadership.
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, applied statistics, or quantitative analysis
Strong experience with statistical analysis and modeling
Proficiency with machine learning or advanced analytics techniques
Experience with Python, R, or similar analytical programming languages
Experience working with large, complex datasets, preferably security, operational, or telemetry-based data
